Join us online for a reimagined evening of art on the dreariest night of the year!

LUCK! Reimagined, the Ottawa Arts Council’s annual art draw, is a special fundraising event that provides a diverse showcase of local visual artists and creators. Invited artists donate an artwork and guests purchase a ticket to win a creation. This evening is unlike any other in Ottawa, as every ticket is a winner!

Draw Ticket: Includes one playing card to win an artwork, one card-themed swag bag with treats and goodies from local businesses, and entry into the event

How it works

The Emcee shuffles a deck of cards and pulls winners at random. Each card corresponds to a draw ticket. Those pulled first…get first pick! Best of LUCK!

This year, the annual art fundraiser is reimagined as a virtual, multi-disciplinary celebration of art. Our Emcee, Jamaal Jackson Rogers, will be performing Art Is In Everything, commissioned earlier this year by the Council. Musical creator, Rebecca Noelle, will be performing a selection of her songs, and artist, Claudia Gutierrez, will give a virtual tour of her home studio.

The funds raised from tickets and donations help the Council continue to support and advocate for the artists in our community. This year, we are delighted to also be funding Warrior Microgrant Series to specifically support creatives from under-represented communities in Ottawa. During this incredibly challenging time, let’s band together to reimagine a future arts community for all!
